Safety practices for working in the barn and around horses
Each camper will work directly with horses while learning
Horse psychology: how horses think and what they expect from you
Correct leading, grooming and tacking procedures
Riding instruction in the indoor or outdoor arena (depending on weather conditions)
Riding instructions are taught for huntseat and western
Highlights:
Small class size and personalized attention
Experienced instructors emphasize safety and fun
Friendly, well-trained horses and ponies
Fresh air and open space; an authentic horse/country experience
